Hey! We‘re Florence and James.
After we wrapped up our medical fertility journey and chose to embrace the DINK (dual income, no kids) life, we were ready to jump back into an active social scene — But we hit a wall.
Most of our friends were busy with kids, so making social plans became difficult. It was also clear that our lifestyle, priorities and even conversation topics, were diverging. Realizing we weren’t alone in this, we founded PARALLEL SOCIAL CLUB™, to build community with others living a similar, parallel lifestyle.
Mid-life without kids (we’re in our 40’s) brings unique conversations — rethinking retirement, financial planning, aging, how we spend our time and how we want to leave our mark on the world. PARALLEL tackles these conversations and more, so that the community experience is more than just about fun — it’s life-changing.
